RULE and Université Aix-Marseille Held Talks on Strategic Partnership for Students Mobilities and the Possibility of a New Dual Master’s Degree in Law

On February 22nd, RULE and Université Aix-Marseille held talks on a strategic partnership between both universities. Discussions focused on the possibility to offer RULE students, professors and administrators accredited mobilities to Université Aix-Marseille. In addition, and most importantly, both parties discussed the possibility to create a new dual master’s degree in criminal law, criminology and/or digital law, in Khmer language, with the award of the French and Khmer master’s of law for graduates. The talks come as a result to the visit of the President of the Bar Association of Marseille at RULE in 2022. . Pr. Jean-Francois Marchi, Vice-President in charge of International Relations at Université Aix-Marseille actively participated in exposing the internationalization strategy of Université Aix-Marseille in South East Asia. Furthermore, Pr. Jean-Baptiste Perrier, the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences at Université Aix-Marseille, exposed his interest in pursuing academic cooperation with RULE’s Rector H.E Dr. Luy Channa and his special advisor for academic cooperation, Mr. Laurent Mesmann, together with RULE’s Vice Rector, H.E. Dr. Soeun Sophorn. RULE is looking forward to the academic cooperation with Université Aix-Marseille based on its internationalization strategy, to which the Dual Degree Department is instrumental.
