French Cambodian national, graduated from PSL University (Paris Dauphine, major Marketing management) over 40 years in the Logistic industry (starting in France his career in shipping line then in international freight forwarding, from 1994 until 2018 at Regional Executive Management for DHL freight forwarding (94-09) and Agility Logistics (2009-2018) based in Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam-Cambodia. Since 2019, being a Senior Advisor of 2 promising Cambodian Logistic companies and free-lance consultant related to Logistic and Supply Chain.

I started to join RULE in 2020 introduced by a French friend who has also spent her career in Logistics, the 1st 2 years (2020 and 2021) weren’t easy during the pandemic time, you were not sure whether the audience understands properly on top of some internet disruptions, from 2022, it was nice to have inter action with the students where questions were asked and debated among the group.

The fact majority of students are working, this helps to have a better understanding of the logistic sector challenges in emerging countries like Cambodia: infrastructure, professional skills in cold chain, in agro sector …

Nothing is more beautiful to relay not just your knowledges but your over 40 years experiences to the young generation showing that logistic and supply chain are the veins of every country development and having a transparent and compliant system, this can improve people livehood and knowledge as the world is also a global market.

During this 2024, I had modified the way of teaching by sharing more actual events related to logistic industry e.g. we had talked about the impact of the Red Sea situation on shipping lines routing from Asia to Europe and the pricing, on Siemreap new airport, on the impact of the highway linking the capital to Sihanoukville port.

This creates more discussion among the group and to have a better understanding on how this can impact the entire supply chain with high price on consumer products.

With the global changes mainly on the climate change and measures most countries are taking like the Carbon footprint, e commerce and e logistics regulations, as teacher, we have to include in our courses.

I have chances to have every year in my group a variety of social background who had traveled and this inter action enrich each module I am explaining.
