- Since when do you teach at RULE?
Since the 2020-21 Academic Year.
- What has been your journey leading you to RULE?
I have studied Management and Strategic Marketing at HEC Paris, then worked in several organizations supporting social entrepreneurs to grow their business and impact in many different countries. This led me to Cambodia, now working at the United Nations Development Programme, where I also started to teach at RULE.
- Can you describe how the course(s) you teach are relevant in the current context?
My course focuses on 3 key aspects that every student can apply in their lives: developing your entrepreneurial mindset, diving deeper into social and environmental issues that you care about and learning how to work in a team effectively. Whether you’d like to become an entrepreneur, or not, these 3 skills will be valuable throughout your career.
- Can you tell us about your experience as a teacher for an international program in Cambodia?
I really love teaching at RULE, especially in the international EPM program as it brings Cambodian and international students together. Not only it allows all students to compare different pedagogies, it allows to create cross-cultural connections that can last a lifetime!
- What do you like the most in teaching at RULE?
What I like the most is the fact that students are very keen to learn and experiment new things. My class is very interactive with a lot of workshops and outside-the-class activities that can bring the students out of their comfort zone, but all my students so far have taken the challenge and pushed their boundaries!
- Do you have any recommendations for future students and graduates?
Give yourself permission to explore, trust the process and take ownership of your learning journey – in the end, you get what you give!
