On March 15th, 2024, the Dual Degree Department / French Cooperation Center at the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE) and the Royal School of Administration (ERA) of Cambodia co-organized an international conference on public administration reforms under the high patronage of H.E. YOUK Bunna, Permanent Secretary of State, Ministry of Civil Service and H.E. Fabrice Etienne, French Embassy in Cambodia.
The conference focused on the civil service reforms and aimed to mobilize and disseminate French administrative and legal knowledge. This knowledge remains important and relevant for contemporary Cambodian public action. The conference also aimed to provide a comparative perspective on public administration in France and Cambodia.

The conference was a success, with over 200 participants from Cambodia and France. The conference provided a valuable forum for exchanging knowledge and experiences on public administration reform. The participants also benefited from the insights of Pr. Guillot, a leading expert on public law.
The conference is part of the ongoing cooperation between the ERA and RULE with the support of the French Embassy end the Ministry of Civil Service of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The four institutions are committed to strengthening the capacity of the Cambodian civil service through training, research, and technical assistance.
