Greetings! I am Sodavann, originally from Kampong Cham province. After graduating from Preah Sihanouk high school in 2017, I was awarded a scholarship from the Cambodian government to enroll in the undergraduate program in Economics at the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE) of Cambodia. Later, in my sophomore year, I had the opportunity to join the international dual degree program in Economics and Management offered by RULE and Lumière Lyon 2 University of France.
I am so grateful for choosing to join this international program because I have had a superb learning experience, and have acquired invaluable academic and social knowledge. Moreover, it is very convenient to be able to experience education with such international standards in my home country. During the three years of my academic journey, I have had the honor to network with distinguished Cambodian and French professors, and create special bonds with all my lovely classmates as well. Now, I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Lyon 2 University in France thanks to the Excellence Eiffel scholarship offered by the French government, as well as the support of my family, professors, and friends. Later, I wish to return to Cambodia to put my acquired knowledge to good use in the hope of contributing to the country’s development in the near future.
I can confidently testify that this terrific international program has created a plethora of opportunities for me and for my future career path.
