Mr. Phal Pisal has a Master’s in Public International Law, specialized in Law of the Sea and Maritime Delimitation from the University of Jean Moulin Lyon 3, France. Currently, he is a Deputy President of the Cambodia Law Association “Sala Traju Association” in charge of academic research and publication. In this context, he is also a deputy director of the trilingual and semestrial Law Bulletin, “Sala Traju Law Bulletin.” In his years as a Public International Law Lecturer since 2016, he has been teaching at various universities, such as the Royal University of Law and Economics, the Royal University of Phnom Penh and The National University of Management. From 2013 to 2014, Mr. Phal Pisal has been selected as ITLOS Nippon fellow and Max Planck Visiting Researcher.
