Dr. Nann Chanroeurn is holder of a docteur en droit (Ph.D in law) from the Université Jean Moulin Lyon3 , Lyon, France, where he studied his master’s degree in law, worked and lived for 11 years.

He is an accomplished researcher as he possesses all the qualities required to carry out in depth and meticulous research in law. He has been a speaker in many seminars and has participated to several research projects. He is now a lecturer at the Royal university of Law and Economics, allowing him to continue to research and share the knowledges and research experiences.

During 2015, Dr. NANN worked at Société de Législation comparée, Paris, a public utility institution organizing international meetings, publishing law journal as well as a series of book on comparative law. He has developed and presented a database on Cambodian law and also organized international conferences on comparative law.

Previously from November 2010 to June 2011, he interned at the Office of Co-Investigating Judges, Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia, where he drafted and reviewed legal documents, especially the Closing Oder. He also attended investigating and court proceedings.
