The Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), is an international organization that aims to promote the French language in the academic world. To do so, AUF offers grants and a technical support to every institution that is willing to implement projects addressing the topics and goals outlined by the organization.
As the French Cooperation Department at RULE is, by its nature, truly dedicated to the preservation and the promotion of the French language, it has developed and implemented several projects co-funded by the AUF. For instance, the project named PEPITE implemented in 2018-2019 and co-funded by the AUF aimed to strengthen the link between the university and the private sector. To this extend, several activities have been implemented such as a job fair, the edition of tutorials videos to show best practices for an recruitment interview, a professional committee with companies has been created.
Today, the French Cooperation Department at RULE has still two projects ongoing co-funded by the AUF. The PROSEC project is willing to support entrepreneurship within the training programs of RULE and another project is striving to revive teaching in French in the Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management.
The French Cooperation Department at RULE remains very close to the AUF and keep welcoming every opportunity offered by this organization with great enthusiasm.
