RULE and Aix-Marseille Université Conduct a Round-Table on ”Comparative Personal Data Protection Law in France and Cambodia: Cross Perspectives on the Legislative Contexts and Choices”

On Tuesday November 25th, the Dual LLM (Master of Law) in Digital Law RULE – Aix-Marseille University organized a Round-Table discussion on the theme ”Comparative Personal Data Protection Law in France and Cambodia: Cross Perspectives on the Legislative Contexts and Choices” at RULE. The discussions focused on the history of personal data protection law in France and Cambodia, the concepts consent and privacy and their legal materialisation, and the role of the judiciary and regulators in upholding data protection, through the various lenses of civil, public, private and criminal law.
