RESEARCH

The French Cooperation Department is committed to actively contribute building research capacity at RULE and more broadly in Cambodia. This commitment goes through providing students with a high-end education to the scientific research. Indeed, in every program’s curriculum, we find a research methodology course and students are required to write down a research report. These mandatory activities help our students to gain the key competences to develop a researcher mindset and to master the tools of the scientific research. We believe that this initiation to the scientific research contributes to raise awareness and interest of our students to the field of scientific research. The main consequence of this training policy is that every year a couple of students decide to continue their studies in a PhD program. Few years later, they become young professional researchers able to foster the research capacity of the country.

The French Cooperation is also meant to coordinate research projects and activities. It benefits from two distinct research centers respectively dedicated to Law and to Economics and Management. These research centers welcome Cambodian and foreign researchers to develop and implement research projects. The main financial contributors to our research projects are the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, the World Bank, the Henri-Capitant Association, the “Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie”.
